PixelUnion is ad-free photo and video storage from the Netherlands, built on the open-source Immich platform and hosted in Germany with backups in Finland.
PixelUnion is a European, open-source alternative to the big American photo services. Built on Immich, it stores photos and videos encrypted on servers in Germany, with backups in Finland, and is funded by subscriptions alone: no ads, no tracking, no sale of metadata. Features such as family sharing and face recognition run on PixelUnion's own European infrastructure, and users can export their originals at any time. PixelUnion is based in Alkmaar, the Netherlands.
