Storage of Third-Party Data

We’re all about giving you a safe and reliable space for your photos. Here’s how it works:

User-Generated Content

You’re in charge of the content you upload. We don’t create, own, or endorse it. If you upload it, you’re responsible for it.

Keeping Things Safe

We’re committed to keeping our platform safe and lawful. If you spot something harmful or unlawful, let us know via our Contact Page. We’ll review it and take action if needed.

Cooperation with Authorities

In cases where unlawful content is identified, PixelUnion reserves the right to cooperate with law enforcement authorities and comply with legal requests for information. We may also take action to remove the content and suspend or terminate the accounts of users who violate our policies.

If you are a law enforcement authority or other authorized governmental body and need to contact us regarding unlawful content or other legal matters, please reach out to us at support@pixelunion.eu. Our team will review your request and respond in accordance with applicable Dutch and European laws.


Payment Terms

Here’s how payments work on PixelUnion:

  • Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods, including credit cards and iDEAL, processed securely via Mollie.
  • Currency: All payments are processed in euros (€).
  • Failed Payments: If a payment fails, we’ll notify you and give you time to fix it. If unresolved after 62 days, we may delete your data.

Payment Timeline

  1. Day 0: Payment Fails

    We notify you of the failed payment and send a reminder.

  2. Day 14: Upload Restricted

    If unresolved, you won’t be able to upload new content.

  3. Day 21: Service Suspended

    Your access to our Services will be suspended.

  4. Day 62: Data Purged

    We may begin deleting your stored data.


Refund Policy

We understand that things happen. Here’s how refunds work:

  1. Eligibility for Refunds
    • Refunds are only available for payments made within the last 14 days.
  • Refunds will not be issued for partial periods of use, unused features, or promotional discounts.
  1. Requesting a Refund

    • To request a refund, please contact us via our Contact Page and provide the following details:
      • Your account information (e.g., email address).
      • The reason for your refund request.
      • Proof of payment (e.g., transaction ID or receipt).
  2. Processing Refunds

    • Refund requests will be reviewed within 7 business days.
    • If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days.
  • Refund are only processed to the original payment method.
  1. Non-Refundable Payments
    • Payments made for one-time purchases or custom services are non-refundable.
    • Refunds are not available for accounts terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service.

Please note that all refund requests are subject to our sole discretion and applicable laws.

Third-Party Payment Processors

Payments are handled by Mollie, a trusted processor. By making a payment, you agree to Mollie’s terms and privacy policy. For disputes, refer to Mollie’s Privacy Policy.


Limitations of Liability

We do our best to provide a reliable service, but we’re not liable for:

  • User-uploaded content.
  • Disruptions caused by events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters).
  • Damages exceeding €100 or the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Dutch law and EU regulations. Any disputes will be handled in Dutch courts unless local consumer protection laws apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we’ll let you know with a notice or email. By continuing to use our Services, you agree to the updated Terms.
