Reporting Abuse

How to report harmful, unlawful, or policy-violating content on PixelUnion

We’re here to help. If you’ve seen something on PixelUnion that doesn’t feel right — content that’s harmful, unlawful, or just against our rules — you can report it. We take every report seriously, and we want to keep our platform safe and respectful for everyone. You’re not alone in this; we’ll review what you send and take action when needed.

What you can report

Our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service describe what isn’t allowed. In short, you can report things like:

  • Illegal or harmful content — Content that is unlawful, harms others, or violates someone’s rights.
  • Prohibited content — Offensive, hateful, or otherwise harmful to the community.
  • Adult content shared publicly — Sexually explicit or pornographic content is only allowed in private; public sharing is not permitted.
  • Gore and graphic violence — Content that depicts extreme violence, injury, or death, or is meant to shock or disturb.
  • Privacy violations — Photos of people uploaded or shared without their consent, or misuse of facial recognition or other AI features.
  • Account or service abuse — Hacking attempts, credential sharing, spamming, phishing, or overloading or misusing the service.

Not sure if something counts? You can still report it — we’d rather hear from you and check than have something slip through. No report is too small if it’s bothering you.

How to report

  1. Use our Legal Contact form
Head to our Legal Contact page and fill in the form with your report. It goes straight to our team.

  2. Include whatever details you have
The more context we have, the faster we can look into it. Helpful things to mention:

    • What you’re reporting (e.g. type of content or behaviour).
    • Where you saw it (e.g. link, album, or description of the location).
    • Any other context that helps (e.g. timestamps, usernames if visible and relevant).

We handle everything you send in line with our Privacy Policy. Your report is in good hands.

What we do with reports

We read every report and decide what to do — that might mean removing content, warning the person involved, or in serious cases suspending or ending an account. In some situations we also work with law enforcement, as set out in our Terms of Service.

We can’t always tell you the outcome of a specific report (for privacy and security reasons), but your report does make a difference. It helps us keep PixelUnion safe for everyone, and we’re grateful you took the time to speak up.

Law enforcement and authorities

If you are a law enforcement authority or other authorised body and need to contact us about unlawful content or other legal matters, please email support@pixelunion.eu. We will review your request and respond in accordance with applicable Dutch and European law.
