Learn how to manage your PixelUnion account settings. PixelUnion uses two different interfaces for different types of settings: Immich (your photo library) and the Account Portal (your account security).

## Settings in Immich (PixelUnion)

You can manage these settings directly within your PixelUnion instance:

### Accessing Immich settings

1. Log in to your PixelUnion domain (e.g., `https://yourname.pixelunion.eu`)
2. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner
3. Select "Settings" or "Account Settings"

### Available settings in Immich

Within your PixelUnion instance, you can configure:

- **Profile Information**: Display name and profile picture
- **Storage Usage**: View your current storage consumption
- **API Keys**: Generate API keys for third-party integrations
  - Go to Account Settings → API Keys
  - Click "New API Key"
  - Give it a descriptive name
  - Copy and store the key securely
- **Notification Preferences**: Email and in-app notification settings
- **Privacy Settings**: Control data sharing and visibility options
- **Library Settings**: Photo and video organization preferences

## Security settings (Account portal)

For security-related settings like password changes and two-factor authentication, you need to access the Account Portal:

### Accessing security settings

1. Go to [https://login.pixelunion.eu/realms/pixelunion/account](https://login.pixelunion.eu/realms/pixelunion/account)
2. Log in with your PixelUnion credentials
3. Navigate to the security section

### Available security settings

In the Account Portal, you can manage:

- **Password Changes**: Update your account password
